First Round Entry

Please complete the following steps in order to submit a first round entry to the UC Berkeley Startup Competition:

• Visit our YouNoodle page at https://www.younoodle.com/groups/bplan_2012_uc_berkeley_startup_competition to create a free account
• After creating your account, login, and join the “2012 UC Berkeley Startup Competition” group
• Click on “Submit an Entry” on the right side menu
• Follow the instructions found on that page and outlined below:

• Complete all of the registration information for your team
• Read the "Terms and Mentor Agreement" document, which includes information about requesting a mentor, and check the box acknowledging that you have read and agree to the "Terms and Mentor Agreement"
• Read the "Participant Agreement" document, and check the box acknowledging that you have read and agree to the "Participant Agreement"
• Upload your Executive Summary package document in a single Word or PDF document which should include the following in this order:

-Executive Summary (not to exceed one page)
-Team Description (not to exceed one page)
-Business Model Canvas (two versions)

• Note: If your team chooses to request a mentor, at least one representative from your team must attend the UC Berkeley Startup Competition Mentor Mixer on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
• Note: Due to the interest in entry and coordination with our judges, we cannot accept any late entries.
• Teams selected to move on to the Semi-Final Round will be notified by Thursday, February 9, 2012.
