Q1: When is the Business Plan Competition?

A1: The first-round packages are due Wednesday, January 27, 2010. You don't need a full business plan to enter the competition. See Rules for details.

Q2: Can I have non-UC Berkeley individuals on my team?

A2: Absolutely. Only one member in each team needs to be affiliated with UC Berkeley or UCSF. See Rules for details.

Q3: I am interested in the competition, but I have no business idea!  What can I do?

Q5: I have no experience developing a business plan.  Do you provide any resources?

A5: Certainly. You can begin by visiting the Resource Center. Also, we have workshops and other events throughout the year to help you with the process.

Q6: What should I include in the Executive Summary?

A6: Take a look at the Suggested Executive Summary Format in the Resource Center. It should give you a good idea of what to include in the Executive Summary.
